  The loud mouth lady at the front desk was so ghetto. She was screaming and the people who had bad English. She was a major distraction to those whom where test taking, with her very loud ghetto mouth. She was telling the clients personal info and arguing with them in front of everyone. She was so loud and tacky! If you go into the DMV at that location you will no exactly who I am talking about as soon as you see her. She looks and act like she belongs on love and hip hop!!! I hope her and her boss reads this

  Since it seems the DMV is universally despised (and sadly, a necessary evil), I feel compelled to share my experience. I personally appreciate reading recent reviews of places I'm obliged to patron, to get a sense of the current state of affairs. I went here today (Tuesday) to get a VA driver's license. Arrived about 9am and was given a ticket from the information counter with no wait. There were maybe only 20 - 30 other people in the place already - it was pretty quiet. I'd already researched the required documentation online, and brought it with me (the website was very helpful), and I barely had the 8 minutes I needed to complete a one-page form before my number was called. Spent about 15 minutes at the counter while the representative entered my info and guided me through the process. She was unemotional but not unkind. I was back to my car in about 25 minutes. I should also add that my husband also got a VA driver's license from this location a month or two ago, and had a similar experience - researched the required documentation online before going, and was in and out of the DMV in around 30 minutes. I believe he went on a Saturday morning. I would return to this location in future.

  The customer service rep and his manager could not understand the concept of a Power of Attorney (POA). I brought a POA, along with identification and supporting paperwork, to get my mother's title changed. Reps said my mother, who now lives in California, would need to come in personally to request the change. I kid you not. The manager on duty may have been one of the most imbecilic individuals I've come across in a long time.
